Fifteen years getting buildings under control
For over 15 years we've helped multi-site operators get a grip on their estates: the energy they waste, the kit that breaks, and the compliance they can't afford to get wrong.
Smart sensors, AI-driven software, and real engineers. Software with a service, not software you're left to work out on your own.

We started on site, not in a spreadsheet
GeoSphere didn't begin as a software pitch. It began with engineers on site, solving real problems for businesses running large, spread-out estates.
That hands-on background still shapes everything we build. We know what it's like to manage hundreds of buildings with patchy data and a growing maintenance backlog, because we've been the people sent in to sort it out.
The buildings everyone else ignored
Traditional building management systems were built for single, prestige buildings: expensive to fit, complex to run, and impossible to justify across an estate of smaller sites. So most multi-site operators were left with nothing: no visibility, no control, and costs creeping up year on year.
We saw that gap as the opportunity. Using battery-powered IoT sensors that install in minutes, and wired solutions where a site genuinely needs them, we could bring proper monitoring to buildings that had always been priced out. Then we wrapped it in a managed service. Operators got answers and outcomes, not just another dashboard to learn. From the start, it was software with a service, never software on its own.
One platform, a deep bench behind it
GeoSphere is part of the Mountain IoT group, a collection of established businesses with decades of combined experience across the disciplines that make this work. Most suppliers are strong at one layer and buy in the rest. We cover the full stack, from the sensor on the wall, to the AI spotting an anomaly, to the engineer who turns up and puts it right. Fewer suppliers to juggle, and one team accountable for the result.
Three tools, one system
Used on their own, each one solves a specific problem. Used together, they turn a building into a connected operation.

Monitor building environments for comfort, compliance, and early warning on issues like damp, mould, and air quality.

IoT energy monitoring and AI-driven optimisation that cuts consumption and cost across a whole portfolio.

Enterprise maintenance management for large estates, from work orders and contractors to predictive maintenance.
A compliance breach or an energy fault can raise a maintenance job automatically, ready for the right person to act on.
Proven across thousands of sites
Our software monitors well over a million assets across thousands of sites, for clients in hospitality, housing, transport, retail, and the public sector.
A national pub and restaurant operator: around £5m a year in energy and maintenance savings across 1000+ sites, with payback around two years.
A social housing provider: temperature and humidity sensors across a 460-home portfolio, managing damp and mould risk in line with Awaab's Law.
A national rail operator: asset and maintenance management across 200+ stations, handling thousands of jobs every month.
Trusted across hospitality, retail, transport, public sector, housing, energy and technology
The people you'll actually deal with
Behind the platform is a team that has spent their careers building IoT businesses across the USA, UK, Ireland, and Europe.
